- Krissy Salmon and Simon Ward join as BDMs
- The new additions come as Kent Reliance restructures the team to boost nationwide coverage
Kent Reliance, part of the specialist lending and retail savings group OneSavings Bank plc, has today announced the appointment of Krissy Salmon and Simon Ward as Senior Business Development Managers.
The new appointments are part of an ongoing drive to increase presence across the UK from Kent Reliance. This has included restructuring the teams of BDMs into North and South specific teams. This will ensure brokers will have easy access to BDMs with the specialist knowledge and expertise in their specific regions.
Krissy Salmon joins Kent Reliance’s team in the South, and will be covering the South Coast, South West England and Wales. Krissy has eighteen years of experience within financial services, having moved from Shawbrook Bank’s Commercial team. Prior to this, she worked at Accord, Lloyds TSB and the Royal Bank of Scotland. Krissy’s role will be to help drive growth by strengthening the relationships with brokers in the region.
Simon Ward joins the team in the North and will be responsible for managing and developing relationships in the North West within Kent Reliance’s broker panel to boost business volumes. Simon has twenty years of experience in financial services, sixteen of which were spent with different brands within the Lloyds Banking Group. Simon held a number of positions within this time in different departments such as collections & recoveries, underwriting, further advances, fraud & compliance and intermediaries.
In order to support its nationwide offering, Kent Reliance has also restructured its sales teams, promoting James Forth and Alan Kimber to Regional Sales Managers in charge of the North and South teams respectively.
Simon Cockerill, Head of Sales at Kent Reliance says: “We are steadily growing our presence across the UK, and this has meant significant investment in experienced BDMs. Both Simon and Krissy have an in-depth knowledge of their regions as well as some great relationships with brokers and so will play a key role in helping to boost our presence across the UK. As part of this continued effort to secure comprehensive coverage across the UK we have restructured our broker teams to ensure we maintain our position at the forefront of helping brokers with the most complex cases.”
